Hello. It's a pleasure to finally meet you.
This is me.
Faith Reid, Human, Being
Interesting facts that have created me as me:
I have a twin brother, and we made up our own language as children.
I grew up on a small farm with long-lashed cows and sleepy horses.
As a child, I had a very special relationship with a goose, full of feathery hugs.
My parents preferred to drive a horse and carriage rather than a car.
From a very small town (1200 people)…
To a very big University (50,000 people)…
To a very different state of Mind (California)…
To a brand new country (Australia)…
It’s all led me to realise the possibilities that come with expansion of worldview.
Recognising that I contain multitudes, wholeheartedly and without judgment.
It’s all, in the grand scheme of things, awe inspiring and damn exciting.
Which is why I have two therapy bunnies and a void cat - they ground me.
And because dreams matter, I wish for alpacas, ponies, and micro cows.
Want more? Okay.
I believe:
Soaking in nature is essential for everyone.
Being grown up means finding your playfulness.
There is wisdom everywhere you look.
There’s a gift in everything. EVERYTHING.
Life is too short to hold grudges.
Grief is an expression of love.
Humans are meant to be happy.
Optimism can be blind; try hope instead.
Want to know way too much?
